Only two months left until I start my Appalachian Trail adventure!
When I day hike, I wear my wedding ring. When I camp overnight, I leave my ring at home. It’s hand carved filigree so it gets dirty easily. Plus, I’m not entirely sure I could replace it, if I lost it. I absolutely adore this ring and I would hate to lose it on the A.T., but I don’t like the idea of not wearing it for six months. After a little bit of thought, I’ve decided to go with a stunt double. I know it’s the least of my worries but I’m all about peace of mind. It’s a cheap $25 tungsten and wood inlay ring that won’t break my heart or the bank if I lose it.
